Press Release: Shell Rock River Greenbelt

The Shell Rock River Greenbelt will close to all motorized vehicles starting December 2, 2024 for the winter season and will reopen late May of 2025. The road will continue to be open for walking, bicycling and equestrian use. The road is a state sponsored snowmobile trail and snowmobiles are allowed on the trail when there is sufficient snowfall.
